The Aithre Turbo Oxygen Makers operate using a consumable mineral that must be periodically replaced.  The Turbo oxygen maker is tested at the factory to output 93% or greater oxygen concentration output at 1 LPM flow rate.  This concentration output will decrease over time at approximately 10% per year, depending on factors such as frequency of use and humidity levels.  Typically, the Turbo will have less oxygen concentration loss when used more frequently and in less humid environments.

The recommended maintenance period is every two years, or when the oxygen concentration output falls below 80% at 1 LPM, or when the Turbo can no longer support 90% blood oxygen SPO2.  Use of the Turbo beyond 2 years without regular oxygen concentration testing is not approved.

An oxygen concentration tester is available to borrow from Aithre and may be used to verify the oxygen concentration output of the Turbo and determine whether maintenance is necessary.  A deposit and shipping fee is required to borrow the oxygen concentration tester.

When Turbo maintenance is required, Aithre provides the maintenance and there are two pricing options for either service or exchange.  

Under the exchange option for $895, you get a factory remanufactured Turbo and your existing Turbo is mailed back to Aithre as a core exchange with near zero downtime.  The remanufactured Turbo includes the newest controller circuitry, software updates, wiring, plumbing, and, of course, the serviced consumable mineral.   The concentration output of the refurbished Turbo is verified to better than 93%.  Importantly, the remanufactured Turbo includes a new 2-year warranty.  Shipping within the United States is included.
