SUPPORT, WARRANTY & RETURNS

Our master warranty and return policies are set forth below.  Out-of-warranty products are repaired at technican rates of $150/hr plus parts and shipping, except for the retired products listed below.

RETURNS

Any unopened product may be returned within 30 days in original condition and packaging for a full refund of the purchase price. 

DUE TO THE PERSONAL NATURE OF OXYGEN SYSTEMS AND ACCESSORIES, AND THE IMPORTANCE OF QUALITY ASSURANCE AND TESTING FOR FLIGHT SAFETY PRODUCTS, NO PRODUCT MAY BE RETURNED ONCE OPENED.

AITHRE PRODUCTS ARE NOT MEDICAL DEVICES AND DO NOT HAVE THE MATERIALS OR ACCURACY REQUIRED TO TREAT OR MONITOR ANY MEDICAL CONDITION; ANY OPENED PRODUCT MAY NOT BE RETURNED BECAUSE IT DOESN'T WORK FOR THE MEDICAL PURPOSE DESIRED.

WARRANTY 

Our warranty policy for all Aithre products is as follows

  • Shield EX 2.0, 3.0, and eDot 5.0 ten years.
  • Turbo two years.
  • All other products 1 year.
  • Original purchaser only and not transferrable.
  • All warranty periods start from the date of original shipment from Aithre. 
  • A warranty exchange does not extend the warranty beyond the original warranty period.  
  • Shipping is not included.
  • The following limitations apply.

LIMITED WARRANTY FROM DATE OF PURCHASE WITH PROOF OR PURCHASE WITH SOLE REMEDY BEING REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF PRODUCT AT SELLER'S OPTION.  NO SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. WARRANTY LIMITED TO DEFECTS IN MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP. WARRANTY LIMITED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND THE ORIGINAL CUSTOMER OF THE PURCHASER AND CANNOT BE ASSIGNED OR TRANSFERRED.  NO PERSON IS AUTHORIZED TO EXPAND THIS WARRANTY. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY PRODUCTS THAT HAVE BEEN SUBJECT TO ABUSE, MISUSE, OR IMPROPER INSTALLATION, STORAGE, MAINTENANCE, OPERATION OR WHICH HAS BEEN ALTERED, MODIFIED, OR INCORRECTLY REPAIRED. WARRANTY VOID IF HOUSING OPENED, OBJECT INSERTED, DEVICE INCORRECTLY POWERED, OR DEVICE EXPOSED TO LIQUID OR DUST. WARRANTY LIMITED TO THE FOREGOING AND OTHERWISE, AS IS WITH NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
