Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from aithre-inc.myshopify.com (the “Site”) and when you use our Aithre Connect iOS app.
DATA COLLECTION, USE, DISCLOSURE WITH IOS AITHRE CONNECT APP
DATA COLLECTION, STORAGE, AND USE OF TrueDepth API OR FACE DATA
This section provides clear and complete information regarding our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of TrueDepth API or face data that results with use of the iOS Aithre Connect App ("app").
WHAT FACE DATA IS COLLECTED AND USED.
We collect and use TrueDepth API or face data within the app to determine indications of pilot activity. Specifically, we detect talking through mouth movement and looking up through eye movement. These activity indicators are used to determine activity or inactivity for detection of potential hypoxia conditions.
WHAT FACE DATA IS STORED
No face data is stored. Only the activity indicators are stored locally on your device and are removed when you close your app. There is no transmission of your face data or the activity indicators to a remote database.
WHAT FACE DATA IS SHARED
No face data or activity indicators are shared with any other third party for any reason.
HOW TO STOP USE OF THE FACE DATA
You can stop use of the face data for activity indications at anytime by not using the app or removing the app. There is no need to contact us to remove your face data or activity indicators because we don't store or access the face data or the activity indicators.
COLLECTION, STORAGE, AND USE OF OTHER USER OR DEVICE DATA
This section provides clear and complete information regarding our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of user or device data that results with use of the iOS Aithre Connect App ("app").
We do not collect any personally identifying information on the app and there is never a login required to use the app. However, we do collect on our secure cloud database anonymous and de-identified GPS, CO, SPO2, BPM, PSI, Turbulence, and Altitude data during use of the app, for the following uses: product improvement and scientific/technical purposes.
Some additional data is collected within the app, including facial feature movements and answers to quiz questions, but this data is collected only in the app for the following use: detecting and warning of potential hypoxic conditions. No facial feature movements or answers to quiz questions are collected outside the app (e.g., there is not cloud database storage of any facial feature movements or quiz question answers). This activity data is immediately deleted when your app closes. No image data is ever captured or retained either on the app or remotely.
We do not share the data with any third parties and have taken steps to prevent the data from being disclosed or used without authorization, including not collecting any personal identifying information, selectively only capturing and storing scientific/technical data for the purposes stated herein, and using a secure cloud database. No image data is ever captured, stored, or shared.
If you do not consent to this data collection and use policy, you can withdraw consent at anytime by uninstalling the app or not using the app. We do not collect any personal identifying information, so there is no data for us to delete that could be traced to you or your device. We do not collect any images or pictures, so there is no imagery for us to delete.
